KIRKLIN, Judy, age 71, of Carlisle, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Atrium Medical Center where she had been a patient for three days. She was born November 28, 1947 in Casey County, Kentucky and moved to Ohio when she was 10 years old. She was a housekeeper at Bethany Nursing Home in Centerville for 25 years, and then was the owner/operator of P & J Market in Carlisle for 10 years.

Judy enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time at casinos. Preceding her in death were her parents, Harold “Buck” and Madalyn “Pat” (Young) Buckingham; and her husband Roy Kirklin in 2012. She is survived by her son, Herb (Tina) Kirklin; four grandchildren, Jessica Argo, Reggie Rae Kirklin, Nikkie Kirklin and Annie Kirklin; two great grandchildren, Amora McLaughlin and Skyler McLaughlin; one brother, Tony (Estella) Clarkston; one sister, Nortence Church; one niece, Heather Claiborne; one nephew, Sean Clarkston; and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, Ohio. Private services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
