Mrs. Julie Donner, 79, of Coudersport, Pa. , formerly of Lehighton & Bethlehem, passed away Monday June 4th at her residence in Coudersport, Potter County, Pa. She was the wife of the late Willard “R.

Skip” Donner Sr. who passed away on Friday, September 27, 1991. Born in Ceiba, Puerto Rico on Monday, September 5, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Modesto & Julia (Casillas) Mercado. Julie was a housewife/homemaker attending to her family’s endeavors.

She was of the Roman Catholic Faith. She formerly held memberships at The Lehighton American Legion Post 314 Ladies Auxiliary and the Beaver Run Rod & Gun Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are 3 children, a daughter, Cheryl Ann “Sherry” wife of Bert Ianson of Coudersport, 2 sons, Willard Donner Jr. of West Virginia, Jeffrey Donner & his wife Kathleen of Weatherly, many sisters & brothers, 7 grandchildren, Willard III, Haley, Jeffrey, Christopher, Rea, Jessica, Jeffrey Jr., 2 great-grandchildren, Riley, Luna, & many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by by several brothers & sisters. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 8th at 11 a.m. at The Ovsak FH, 190 South 4th St., Lehighton with Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr. officiating.

Call 9:30-11 a.m. on Friday. Interment in Gnaden Huetten Cemetery, 4th & Union St., Lehighton. Memorial Contributions in her name may be made to a charity of choice.
