June Marie Chase Marnell June 05, 1929 – January 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card The Marnell family will receive friends on Tuesday January 22, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral processions will form 9 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM at Saint Joseph’s Church, corner of Wall and Main Street in Kingston.

Final prayers will be offered at the Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum. June Marie Chase Marnell, a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many, passed into Heaven on January 17, 2019. A lifelong resident of Kingston, she was born on June 5, 1929 to the late John B Chase and Anna Harrison Chase.

She was married to her late husband Robert Frank Marnell on August 22, 1948. June worked at the Fuller Shirt Company where she met her husband. After her eight children were grown, she took a position with Caldor.

She was a devout Catholic, a master of sewing, crocheting and an avid reader. She was a member of the Troop 12 Indians Drum Corps Mothers Club working on various fund raising activities. June also volunteered at Golden Hill Infirmary where she mended articles of clothing for residents and was associated with a group who made clothing for less fortunate children.

She was a Eucharistic Minister who brought the Eucharist to elderly individuals who were homebound. She is survived by eight children: Matthew Marnell and Betty Perry of Houston TX, Robert and Mary of Raleigh NC, Marianne Bruck of Kingston, Michael and Mary Ellen of Kingston, Stephen and Susan of Rhinebeck, Mark Marnell and Kathy Burns of Kingston, Jo-Ann and Charles Boughton of Kingston and Bernadette and Dave Palumbo of West Park. She is also survived by twenty four grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and two sisters, JoAnn Moroney of Largo Florida and Virginia Chase of Kingston.

We love you “Nanny June”, you will be missed by many.
