June P. Heckert , 87 of Ravenna, passed away Tuesday January 22, 2019 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born November 4, 1931 in Ravenna to the late Frederick and Florence (Clancy) Heeter. Mrs. Heckert has been a Ravenna resident most of her life and had worked as an aide for several area nursing homes, In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Denzil in 2000, her sons Ronald, James, Darrell Heckert, three sisters and seven brothers.

She is survived by her children David Heckert, Jackie Harris, Herbert Heckert, Robert Heckert and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. At her request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday Janaury 29, 2019 from 3 to 7 Pm at the Freedom in Christ Church 1011 W. Main St. Ravenna, Ohio.
