Olive Cemetery, Ovett VISITATION: Thursday, January 31, 2019 Jones and Son Funeral Home 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Jones and Son Chapel in Hattiesburg for Mr. Alfred “Junior” Stewart, Jr. age 79, of Hattiesburg who passed from this life January 29, 2019. Dr. Scott Hanberry will officiate with burial to follow in the Mt.

Olive Cemetery in Ovett. Mr. Stewart worked in the Water Treatment Industry and retired as the owner of Stewart Water Systems. He was an active member of Hardy Street Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Stewart of Hattiesburg; sons, Lee (Vicki) Stewart of Monroe, GA and Tim (Tammie) Stewart of Cartersville, GA; step-son, Kyle (Kelly) Greer of Hattiesburg; brother, Wayne (June) Stewart of Sumrall; sister, Mary Agnes Francher of Beaumont, TX; half-brother, Joe Stewart of Gulfport; 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
