Karen Mase, 57 of Old Bridge, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, surrounded by the love of her family. Born Friday, November 24, 1961 in New York, New York, Karen was the daughter of the late Max and Carmen Campolo. Karen was raised in Brooklyn, New York.

She would meet and marry the love of her life, Steven Mase and the two would marry. They would move to Old Bridge twenty two years ago, to be closer to family. Karen enjoyed spending time at the family vacation home near Lake Wallenpaupak in Pennsylvania.

She enjoyed the time spent being out on the lake on the family boat. Karen was a talented cook, and an excellent baker, making everything from scratch. Karen also enjoyed painting.

More than anything Karen loved being with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, and she will be missed by all those that were blessed to have had her in their lives. Karen was predeceased by her parents, Max and Carmen Campolo, by her sister Roseann Fazio, and by her brother Sam.

Karen is survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Steven, by her loving children, Derek, and Samantha, by her caring siblings, Bernard, Rudy, Carmen, Mark, and Guy, by her caring brother in law, Paul Fazio, by her loving nephews and niece, Chris, Corey, and Cheryl Fazio, and many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.
