Karen Sue Armstrong, age 76, of Tipton, passed away May 13, 2018. She was born March 19, 1942 in Adrian, the daughter of Sylvan and Lois (Liedel) Echelbarger. On May 2, 1959 she married Larry Armstrong at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Tecumseh.

He survives. In addition to her husband Larry, Karen is survived by a son, Larry (Lisa) Armsrong, Jr.; three daughters, Joan (Bob) Kay, Nicole (Don) Cushing, Diana (Andy) Hemker; 10 grandchildren, Cody and Jeremiah Armstrong, Matthew (Vicky) Newell, Ariana and Bethany Kay, and Desiree, Jacob, and Joshua Cushing, Wyatt and Bryson Hemker; great grandson Gavin Newell; brother, Sylvan “Bud” (Dora) Echelbarger; and sister, Jill (Terry) Carr. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister; Paula Snyder.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday May 18, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh with Rev. Tom March officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. also on Friday May 18, 2018 at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
