OBITUARY Karen Sue Holdaway December 28, 1946 – December 22, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Karen S. Holdaway, 71, formerly of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 in Fayetteville, GA. She was born in Evansville, IN on December 28, 1946 to the late Orvil L. and Irma E. (Schwartz) Hilgedieck. Karen graduated from North High School in 1964.

She worked in the accounting department at General Electric. Karen was a member of Beta Sigma Phi business sorority in Evansville. She is preceded in death by her parents; infant son Holdaway and brother-in-law Randall Smith.

Karen is survived by sisters; Connie Charlton (Larry), Lois Smith; nieces, Amy Boyer (John), Beth Overfield (Rick); nephews, Daniel and Brad Smith (Emily); several friends and caregivers; Bonnie and Don Dixson. Family and friends may visit on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Alexander East Chapel with burial to follow at Bethlehem United Church of Christ Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation.
