Kathleen E. Hawkins, age 69 of East Providence, formerly of Columbia, CT and Fall River, MA, died January 7, 2019 at Harris Health Center. She was born on August 6, 1949, a daughter of the late Daniel David O’Connell and the late Esther A. (Perry) O’Connell. Kathleen graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Fall River in 1967, and from SMU in 1971 with a B.A. in Political Science.

She was also an active traveler, with some of her favorite spots being London and Paris She worked as an IT Administrator for Travelers Insurance for 30 years. Kathleen was a woman of faith; collected and displayed numerous nativities sets throughout her home. She was an avid fan of the Red Sox, NY Giants and PC men’s basketball team.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. She is survived by her sister Gladys M. (O’Connell) St. Michel of Fall River and her nephew Edward St. Michel of Cranston. Funeral Services are private.
