Obituary for Kathryn “Katie” Spitz Kathryn “Katie” J. Spitz June 22, 1924-June 9, 2018 Kathryn J. Spitz, 93, of Duncansville passed away on Saturday at the Presbyterian Home in Hollidaysburg, PA. She was born in Ganister, PA and was the daughter of the late August and Mary Hanzier. Katie is survived by two sons Thomas W. Spitz (Loise) and Gary W. Spitz; a sister Angie O’Shell; three grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ralph W. Spitz and her son Daniel G. Spitz. She worked for the Railroad in the 40’s and was a longtime employee of the Old Canal Inn. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Eldorado, PA.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at The Good Funeral Home Inc, Alto Reste from 10 to 11 AM followed by a funeral service at 11 AM.
