Obituary for Shirley Hamilton (Ketrow) Shirley May (Ketrow) Hamilton May 24, 1945– May 28, 2018 Shirley May (Ketrow) Hamilton, age 73, of Hollidaysburg, died at home Monday afternoon following a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Altoona the daughter of the late Ward and Alma (Keller) Ketrow. She married Donald W. Hamilton, Sr. on March 1, 1976 and he died January 25, 2016.

She is survived by three children, Scott Hamilton and wife Holly of Six Mile Run, Donald Hamilton, Jr. and wife Angel of North Vernon, IN, and Christine Dubbs and husband George of Hollidaysburg; 10 Grandchildren, Paige, Samantha, Scott, Kaitlyn, Isaiah, Kami, George, Clarissa, Bronson, and Noelle; 2 Great Grandchildren, Stiles and Matthias; and 3 Brothers, Leonard Keller of Hollidaysburg, Howard (Sonny) Gates of Altoona, and Ward (Terry) Ketrow of Altoona. Shirley was a member of the Puzzletown Road Bible Church. She was a 1963 graduate of Altoona High School and had previously been employed at Butterick.

She enjoyed puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. Friends will be recieved from 5-8PM on Monday and from 10 until the 11AM funeral service on Tuesday in the Puzzletown Road Bible Church; Pastor Lynn Johnston and Pastor Jon Gross officiating. Interment will be made in Alto-Reste Park.

Contributions in Shirley’s memory may be given to either the Dupont Baptist Church, 6824 W. South Street, P.O. Box 67, Dupont, IN 47231 or the Puzzletown Road Bible Church, 316 Puzzletown Road, Duncansville, PA 16635. Arrangements are by the Good Funeral Home, Inc., Altoona.
