Kathryn “Kay” Zarmeba, 97, of Aliquippa, passed away Thursday April 12, 2018 in Providence Care Center, Beaver Falls. Born February 16, 1921 in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Milutin and Kata (Gorzcak) Bisich, she retired as a sales clerk from Kaufmann’s Department Store. Mrs. Zaremba was an active member of St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa, where she faithfully cleaned the church weekly, made pierogies, and participated in all church activities.

Her greatest achievement in her life was raising her two children with love, devotion and sacrifice, following the untimely death of her husband. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wallace F. Zaremba, in 1964;her siblings, Edward, Pete, Mike, and George Bisich, Anna Arbutina, Mildred Grgich, Mary Plipovic, and Stella Weld, and her sisters-in-law, Louise Novak, Jenny Lalama, Jo Brunansky, and Ann McCullough.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Darlene (Zivic) Zaremba, of Summerville, S.C.; a daughter, Monica Zaremba, of Beaver; her grandchildren, Melissa Zaremba, Jonathan Zaremba, Matthew Dattilo and Laura Dattilo; four nieces and a nephew, Dorothy Baron, Mary Ann Russian, Tootsie Vranjes, Joanne Raditic, and Matthew “Moe Arbutina, and her special friend, Pat Cavanuagh, who ministered the Grace of Jesus to Kay, through song and prayer. Friends will be received Sunday from 1pm to 5pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, Pa. 15001, where a service will be held Monday at 10:30am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa, with Fr.

Tom Wilson, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Providence Care Center Activity Department, 900 Third Ave, Beaver Falls, Pa. 15010.
