Kathryn Lynnette Arnold Gay, 72, of Franklin, NC passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018. Born in Decatur, Indiana she was the daughter of Neldon and Catherine Bockover. She was married for 20 years to Matthew B. Gay who preceded her in death on July 14, 2004.

Mrs. Gay worked in the retail and restaurant business. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great‑grandmother. Survivors include daughters, Teresa Harvey of Ellington, FL, Amanda Toneges of Raleigh, NC, Tammy Tatman of Bradenton, FL and Michelle Galyen of Las Vegas, NV; son, Joseph Daniel Toneges of Franklin, NC; 21 grandchildren; 14 great‑grandchildren and sisters, Janet Baldwin, Janice Arnold and Kathy Tichenor.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, David N. Tatman. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 2:00 ‑ 4:00 pm at Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory. Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Gay family.
