Kathryn Deloris Boone Wilson, 86, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2018. She was born September 14, 1931 in Jacksonville FL to the late Willie Beecher Boone and Myrtle Elizabeth Packard Boone. A member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church, Deloris loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart.

She was a wonderful and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt who will be greatly missed by her family. Deloris was predeceased by her husband, Freddie E. Wilson, Sr.; parents, Willie and Myrtle Boone; sister, Laurie Voncile Padgett; and, brother, William B. Boone. Survivors include her children: Marilyn Diane Bennett (Gary, Sr.) of High Springs FL; Glenda Sue Vize (Richard) of Dubuque IA; Cheryl Lynn Bogler (Philip) of Gainesville FL; Patricia Gayle Luedke (Jack) of Jacksonville FL; and, Freddie E. Wilson, Jr. of Sanderson FL.

She also leaves behind ten grandchildren: Gary Bennett, Jr., Michael Bennett (Jenny), Brian Vize (Melissa), Peter Vize, Madeline Bogler, Amelia Bogler, Sarah Wiese (William), Nikolas Luedke, Nicole Asbury (Allen), and Katherine Davis (Rylan); 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Herbert W. Wilson. Deloris will be laid to rest next to her husband, Freddie Eugene Wilson, Sr. Visitation services will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 20, 2018.

Funeral and burial will be at 2:00 pm. A special thanks goes to all of the wonderful ‘Angels’ at St. Vincent’s Southside, and Community Hospice, Earl B. Hadlow Center, for their compassion and kindness; and to Dr. Sample Magee, who was her favorite.
