Obituary of Kathy Yowell Kathy M. Yowell, 58, of Salisbury died on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Born January 18, 1960 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late Preston Herrell and Helen Howard Yowell. Kathy worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at Dorchester General Hospital.

She had a great love for animals and she was often volunteering at the Humane Society walking dogs and at PetSmart working with the cats. She also loved to travel. She is survived by her two sisters, Jo Ann Nelson of Centreville and Jeannie McGovern and her husband, Tom both of Salisbury; brother, Carl Yowell of Randallstown; a nephew, Bryant Nelson; two nieces, Amelia Hunt and her husband, Brian and Elizabeth Nelson and her fiancé, Daniel.

She is also survived by her fur-babies, Shelby, Teddy, Mr. Buffles and Pixie. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
