Obituary of Alvin Burton Alvin N. Burton, 75, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born on February 3, 1943 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late James and Annabelle Hamann Burton. Alvin graduated from Towson High School.

He was retired from the insurance industry as a owner/operator and agent for a number of years. Alvin was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and also enjoyed traveling. Alvin is survived by his wife, Andrea L. Taylor, six children, Kim Schini, Michelle Brown, Sherri Hunt, Kilee Taylor, James Burton, and Joseph Burton; six grandchildren, Hailey Brown, Kelbey Egerland, Annika Egerland, Hanson Egerland, Cole Brown, Holden Hunt; and his former wife, Lynn Burton.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00 am at Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury with Reverend Larry Davis officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Alvin’s Honor to the Burton Children’s Endowment Fund at any Farmer’s Bank of Willards.
