OBITUARY Raymond “Buddy” Edward Nichols Jr. February 5, 1941 – September 25, 2018 Hebron: Raymond “Buddy” Edward Nichols, Jr., 77, of Hebron passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 with his loving wife, son, and family by his side at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born February 5, 1941 in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of the late Raymond Edward Nichols, Sr. and Florence L. Roswell Nichols. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Grace E. Nichols; one son, Joshua G. Nichols; one brother Kenneth “Kenny” Nichols and wife Paula; one sister, Jeanie Forbes and husband Dave; several nieces and nephews, and a special man’s best friend, Hershey.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister Cathy Goslee. He worked for 40 years at Barr International as a diesel mechanic. His son, Josh remember his father sitting at the kitchen table watching his murder mystery TV shows.

He was a kind and loving man and a hard worker. Growing up as a youngster, he worked in the woods as a logger alongside his father and enjoyed helping his father with the go-cart track in Mardela Springs. He is known for his 1936 Chevy Pick-Up which he spent many of days drag racing.

A Reflective Celebration of Buddy’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Bounds Funeral Home, 705 East Main Street, Salisbury, MD. His close friend, Richard Liechty will deliver the eulogy. Inurnment will be private.
