Obituary of Edward Smith Edward Lee Smith, 77, of Parsonsburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 peacefully at his home. Born on March 2, 1941 in Allen, MD, he was the son of the late Edgar Smith and Mamie Martin. Edward graduated from Wicomico High School.

He was employed as an insurance agent for over 30 years with his most recent employment with Home Mutual. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Salisbury. Edward loved fishing, crabbing, and woodworking.

He also enjoyed going to auctions. Edward is survived by his wife Linda C. Smith, two daughters, Tammy Brown and her significant other Kevin Ward and Kimberly Watson; a son, Clark Stephens and his wife Lisa; three granddaughters, Katie Michele Watson, Ashley Nicole Burse, Nikki Lee and her husband Timothy; two grandsons, David Michael Watson and Jimmy Myers; a great-grandchild, Gauge, a brother, Clifton Smith and his wife Dot; two step-brothers, Jerry Swift and his wife Betty and Wayne Swift; his three dogs Hooch, Jake, and Monkey and three cats Bailey, Winnie, and Lucky; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Myers and her husband Billy, two grandson, Jason Lee Brown and Shawn Douglas Brown, a brother, Roger Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 2 on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
