Obituary of Gary Rose Gary W. Rose, 68, of Delmar, died on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at his home. Born on March 26, 1950 in Bridgeton, NJ, he was the son of the late Vincent and Mary Branch Rose. Gary graduated from Bridgeton High School in New Jersey.

Upon his graduation, he entered the United States Navy, where he served for over 20 years. Following his military career in 1989, Gary was employed as a contractor with Wallops Island, until his retirement in December of 2017. He enjoyed ancestry research and traveling.

Most of all he was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, companion, and friend. Gary is survived by his most special companion, Stephanie Hallgren of Delmar, two Sons, Eric A. Rose and his wife Brenda of Delmar and Byron T. Rose of Salisbury; two biological granddaughters, Avery Rose and Madison Rose, both of Delmar; four step-granddaughters, two brothers, Vincent Rose and his wife Marge and Brian Rose and his wife Carrie; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date.
