Salisbury – Dreama Sue Dickerson Christopher, 53 died Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. Born in Welch, W.V., she is the daughter of Castella (Giles) Dickerson of Keystone, W.V. and the late James Ivy Dickerson. She was a 1983 graduate of Norfolk High School in McDowell County, W.V. Upon graduation she marred Brian Menafee and relocated to Salisbury, MD.

She was employed as a supervisor with Mountaire Farms, Inc., Selbyville, DE for twenty five years, She attended a local church in Salisbury, MD. Her survivors include six children: Sgt. Devont’e (De’arricka) Menafee stationed in El Paso, TX; Bashauna and Demesha of Cambridge, MD; Dauntaea and Bremante of Salisbury and Bryauna Menafee of Berlin, MD; eleven grandchildren; six siblings: Rhonda “Pat” Logan of Winston-Salem, NC, Arnetta (Michael) Taylor of Princeton, WV, Jacqueline and Elder Daniel Johnson of Columbus, OH, Patricia and Elder Mark Clark of San Diego, CA, Armentra (Marshall) Eskridge of Knoxville, TN, Shirley Swain of Roanoke, VA and James Hamilton of Morgantown, WV, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Two siblings: Ulysses “Butch” Scott and Willie Kate Dickerson preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held noon, Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Jolley Memorial Chapel in Salisbury where friends may view one hour prior to service. Cremation will follow.
