Obituary of Dorothea Condon Dorothea Yvonne Condon, 105 1/2 , of Salisbury, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 peacefully at Wicomico Nursing Home. Born on January 17, 1913 in Haverhill, MA, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Yvonne Larivee. She graduated from Merrimac High School and Burdett College in Massachusetts.

Dorothea was married to Theron Elwin Condon for over 50 years and is survived by three children Joyce Chaconas, Elwin Condon (Rose), and Denise Brewington (Bill), 6 grandchildren, 9 nine great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. Dorothea lived most of her life in Chevy Chase, MD before moving to Leisure World, Silver Spring, MD following her husband’s retirement. Following her residency in Leisure World, she moved to the Eastern Shore of MD.

In her younger years, she was an avid golfer, master Bridge player, ceramics instructor, and volunteer for the Kiwanis Club, where she was named Citizen of the Year in 1999. Dorothea was an active member of Lady of Grace Church in Silver Springs. Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Dorothea’s honor to the Lower Shore Parkinson’s Foundation, 900 Progressive Circle, Salisbury, MD 21804 or Wicomico Co. Nursing Home Activities Center, 900 Booth St., Salisbury, MD 21804. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
