Kay Thomas Brande, 74, of 116 Kittyhawk Drive Danville died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at SOVAH-Danville. She was a daughter of Claudia Marie Thomas and had lived her entire life in Danville. Kay had worked at Moses, Hayes and Willeford Insurance Services as a commercial account manager and retired from Bankers Insurance.

She was a former member of the ABWA. Survivors include a son, Kelly W. Brande of Danville, a daughter, Cindy Brande Hawker (Edward) of Dry Fork, a brother-in-law, Mark V. Brande (Warren) of Greensboro, NC and five grandchildren, Max Brande, Davis Fowlkes, Ian Brande, Caroline Brande and Kati Jo Fowlkes. There will be no formal service.

The family will be at the residence all day Saturday, January 26, 2019. Please send no food or flowers, but consider a contribution to your favorite charity in Kay’s memory. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is serving the Brande family.
