Kaylene McCrann September 27, 1961 – February 13, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Kaylene McCrann, 57, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home in Rock Springs, Wyoming surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Rock Springs for the past 34 years and is a former resident of Campbell County, Wyoming. Kaylene was born on September 27, 1961 in Odessa, Texas, the daughter of Roland Kenneth Scott and Dorothy Alene Miller.

She attended schools in Gillette, Wyoming and was a 1979 graduate of the Campbell County High School. Kaylene also attended the University of Wyoming where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education. Kaylene married Terry F. McCrann on August 8, 1987 in Rock Springs, Wyoming at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

She worked as a teacher for Sweetwater County School District #1 for 10 years, and later worked for Wyoming Work Force Services as a Work Force Specialist for 11 years. Kaylene was a member of New Life Ministries Church. She was known for her witty sense of humor, and her devotion to her family, especially her children.

Kaylene enjoyed running, reading and spoiling her dogs. Survivors include her father; Roland Kenneth Scott of Gillette, Wyoming, husband; Terry F. McCrann of Rock Springs, Wyoming, one son; Kyle McCrann of Rock Springs, Wyoming, two daughters; Lauryn McCrann of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Kristin McCrann of Rock Springs, Wyoming, four brothers; Wayne Pittman and wife Lorna of Gillette, Wyoming, Ed Pitman of Gillette, Wyoming, Randy Pittman and wife Roseann of Casper, Wyoming, Ken Scott and wife Beth of Gillette, Wyoming, one sister; Shannon Cubbon and husband Mark of Greeley, Colorado, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother; Dorothy Alene Scott, and her in-laws; John and Jean McCrann.

Following cremation, services are pending. The family respectfully suggests that donations in Kaylene memory be made to Cowboys Against Cancer, 1893 Dewar Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming 82901. Condolences may be left at www.
