Ruth Marie Chesnovar October 15, 1923 – February 05, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ruth Marie Chesnovar, 95, of Eden, Wyoming passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Sublette Center in Pinedale, Wyoming. A longtime resident of Farson, Wyoming, Mrs. Chesnovar died of natural causes due to age. She was born on October 15, 1923 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the daughter of Fred Meyer and Allie Sims Meyer.

Mrs. Chesnovar attended schools in Farson, Wyoming. She married Rudy Chesnovar on July 7, 1943 in Rock Springs and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1991. Rudy and Ruth were ranchers and she was always involved in every aspect of the ranch.

Her interests included gardening, crocheting and embroidering. She was a lifetime member of the Farson Women’s Club and spent many hours with her service to the community. Survivors include two sons Rudy Chesnovar Jr. of Eden, Wyoming and Robert Chesnovar and wife Leanne of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two daughters Frances Young and husband Ron of Rock Springs and Bonnie Hueckstaedt and husband Rick of Eden, Wyoming; one brother Jim Meyer and wife Jan of Woodscross, Utah; three sisters-in-law Mary Rutledge of Roy, Utah, Louise Warpness of Farson, Wyoming and Claudie Meyer of Pinedale, Wyoming; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rudy; four brothers Bill, Ben, Robert and Kenneth Meyer; two sisters Dorothy Meyer and Mildred Williams. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Farson – Eden Community Hall in Farson, Wyoming. Interment will be in the Eden Valley Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Community Center one hour prior to services.
