Keith’s Obituary Keith Edward Akers, 61, of South Point, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky. Keith was born August 16, 1957 in Ironton, Ohio, a son to the late George E. and Mary Kipf Akers. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Sue Pierson Akers, whom he married May 16, 2010.

Keith was a 1977 graduate of Ironton High School. He was a self-employed painter for many years. Keith enjoyed fishing and was a member of Lawrence County Bass Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: three children: Jimmy (Janette) Cremeans of Pedro, OH, Jason Fritz of Oak Hill, OH and Jamie Arbaugh of Ironton, OH two step-children: Michael Davidson of South Point, OH and Anthony (Brigett) Davidson of Athens, OH sister: Georgeanne Loomis of Ashland, KY two brothers: Mike Akers of Ironton, OH and Scott Akers of Wheelersburg, OH seven grandchildren Celebration of Keith’s life will be Friday, February 1, 2019, from 2:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m., at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street, Ironton, Ohio.
