KELLI’s Obituary Kelli Ireson Martin of Vero Beach, formerly of Arlington, VA passed away on May 15, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic Medical Center. Her husband, William A. Martin, Georgetown restauranteur, was the true love of her life and they shared 27 wonderful years of marriage. Kelli held a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fashion from the Bauder Fashion College in Atlanta, GA.

She was a high profile model in her early years in Atlanta and later in Miami Beach, Florida where she worked in the Fashion Industry. The Martins relocated permanently to the Grand Harbor Country Club in Vero Beach in 1997. Kelli became an active member of the Club excelling as an award winning golfer and member of the Bocce Babes team.

Her generous and gracious charity work included the Hibiscus Children’s Charity, Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program, and Grand Harbor 18 Hole Ladies Golf Association. Kelli was also a member of the Eagle Society of the Indian River Medical Center. Kelli leaves behind her loving family members, long time dear friends and numerous personal club friends and business associates.

Her two beautiful puppies, which she adored, now have an adoptive family willing to love and care for them as she did. It was Kelli’s wish to be cremated and her ashes be placed with her predeceased husband at the Arlington National Cemetery. Donations in memory of, or to honor your friendship with Kelli, will be greatly appreciated to The Humane Society of Vero Beach, 6230 – 77th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32967.
