Obituary for Kenneth Wright Kenneth “Ken” Allan Wright, 67, from Perkins, Oklahoma passed away June 5th 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, June 9, 2018 in the Perkins Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ken was born March 20th, 1951 to Hubert Bryan and Myrdice (Crews) Wright in Tampa, Florida. He attended high school in Plant City, Florida. Ken joined the United States Coast Guard and served aboard the USCGC Hamilton as a Sonar Technician.

Ken briefly attended the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida. On June 4th, 1983. Ken married Kim Renee’ Rylant in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Ken was an avid Oklahoma City Thunder, Oklahoma State Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan. It wasn’t uncommon to find him yelling at the television, even while watching a recorded game that he had already seen. His love for his family, his sudden and often unexpected humor, will be truly missed.

Kenneth was preceded in death by both parents; one brother, Thomas Wright, aunt, Nellie Wright and cousin Terri Jo Leonard. He Is survived by his wife; son, Chase and wife Tiffany, son, Drew; two granddaughters, Aubree and Emily; an ornery grandson, Cooper; uncle, David Wright; aunt, Irmajean Gaines and husband Paul; cousin, Sandy Heaton and husband Davis as well as many nieces and nephews.
