Kenneth’s Obituary Kenneth Larry Mitchem, 69, of Old Princeton Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, West Virginia. Kenneth was born on December 04, 1949 in Iaeger, West Virginia to the late Arnold Walker and Elsie Mitchem Roberson. Kenneth served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Kenneth’s favorite NFL team was the Dallas Cowboys. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Judy Melvin Mitchem of Bluefield, West Virginia; son Arnold and LeAnna Mitchem of Iaeger, West Virginia; daughter Denna Whitt and husband Jason of Chesterfield, South Carolina; Grandchildren Hailey and Chloe Mitchem and Xander and Harlie Whitt and one brother Keith Roberson of Iaeger, West Virginia.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Danny Bowles officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.

The Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard will be conducting Military Graveside Honors. Friends may call on Sunday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. The family is accepting online condolences at www.
