Obituary for Kenneth Maurice Moyer Sr. Kenneth Maurice “Red” Moyer, Sr., 62, of Salem, Virginia passed away, Monday, November 26, 2018, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born February 9, 1956, in Stoneville, North Carolina, to the late Lawrence Washington Moyer, Jr., and Delores Shelton Moyer. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was active in Veteran’s Affairs.

Mr. Moyer is survived by his step-father, Jake Settle; daughters, Alyssia Ray (Brandon), Michelle Coulibaly (Adam), and Shavonda Spencer; sons, Walter Moyer (Belinda), Kenneth Moyer, Jr., and David Wright; sisters, Jacqueline Adams (John) and Rachel Dillard; brothers, Larry Moyer (Dorothy), Thomas Moyer “T.P.” (Chandra), and Thomas Andrew Moyer; and seventeen grandchildren, Devin, Deja, Taryn, Marissa, Adanya, Donovan, Destiny, Kendrick, King, Brandon Jr., Isabella, Da’Shaun, DiMontae, D’Kiah, D’Coya, Austin, and Catlin; and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 1:00 P. M. at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends 30 minutes before the service.

Burial will follow at the Moyer Family Cemetery, 5985 Carolina State Road 135, Stoneville, North Carolina. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family. On Line condolences may be made at www.
