Obituary for Kenneth R. Daily Kenneth Robert Daily, 52, son of Don and Jodi Daily of Kearney, NE passed away June 1, 2018 at UNMC in Omaha, surrounded by family and friends. A Celebration of life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, June 9th at the O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.

Services are entrusted to O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral and Cremation Services. Ken was born July 9, 1965 at Fort Lewis Army Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. Ken grew up in Whitman, Nebraska attending Whitman Elementary School thru the 6th grade.

Ken then attended Hyannis High School, graduating in 1983. Ken attended college at Doane and UNK. Ken lived most of his adult life in Colorado Springs, Colorado, before moving back to Amherst in 2002.

Ken worked as a chef at HyVee until a few months prior to his death. Ken is survived by his son Logan Daily of Kearney; parents Don and Jodi Daily of Kearney, sister Kimberly (Kevin) Vaught of Aurora, brother Dennis Daily of Mullen and sister Tammy (Jim) Purdum of Thedford, along with a host of relatives and friends.
