Obituary for Phyllis L. Duncan Phyllis L. Duncan, 85 Lincoln, NE Phyllis L. Duncan, 85, of Lincoln formerly of Kearney died Monday, May 28, 2018 at the Independence House in Lincoln. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at the First Baptist Church in Kearney with the Rev. Sean Dougherty officiating.

Interment will follow at the Kearney Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church or the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.

Phyllis was born September 7, 1932 in Elm Creek, Nebraska to Leo and Lucille (Spink) Haggard. From the age of 4 she was raised by her grandparents, William and Addie Haggard. Phyllis was raised in Kearney and was a graduate of Kearney High School.

On May 12, 1951, she was united in marriage to Bobby Duncan in Kearney, NE. Phyllis was the office manager for Kearney Ag and Auto Repair for several years before retiring in 1999. She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters Debbie Johnson and Diana Weaver both of Lincoln; son Doug Duncan of Kearney; grandchildren Jon Camplin and fiancé Jane Meyer of Lincoln, Geoffrey Camplin of Lincoln, Meredith Stegman and husband Matt of Lincoln, Kelly Weaver of Aurora, CO, Travis Weaver and fiancé Diana Walford of Kansas City, MO; great grandchildren Kyle, Kelsey and Quinn Camplin, Kyler Weaver, and Luke, Lucy and Eleanor Stegman; sisters Carolyn Maki of Pasco, WA and Sally Moon of Spokane, WA, as well as, many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, husband, one sister, one brother and a great granddaughter Elizabeth. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Phyllis L.
