Obituary for Wilma B. Ingram Wilma B. Ingram of Kearney died on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Kearney Regional Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. She was 93 years old. The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Kearney, NE.

Father Tim Anderson and Mother Stephanie Swinnea will officiate the service. Memorials are suggested to the Dale and Wilma Ingram Endowed Scholarship at the University of Nebraska Foundation. Please visit www.

She grew up in Bertrand, graduated from Bertrand High School in 1942 and attended Kearney State College. On December 31, 1946 she married W. Dale Ingram in Kearney and they lived and raised their family in Kearney. Dale continues to reside in the home where he and Wilma lived together.

For 60 years, Wilma worked at First National Bank, which later became Wells Fargo Bank. She was also a pillar of her community in Kearney throughout her life. Wilma was a member of the Eastern Star, the Kearney American Legion Auxiliary and was a founding member of Alpha Phi Sorority chapter at Kearney State College.

Wilma enjoyed spending winters in Mesa, AZ and summers at Johnson Lake. She was an avid bridge player, playing with four groups until a few months before her passing. She always enjoyed dancing with the love of her life Dale, and together they impressed everyone on the dance floor.

Wilma was beloved by her family, her friends and her grandchildren. Her vivacious spirit and joy for life was contagious. Her wit and humor was unparalleled and her dedication and love for her husband Dale was inspirational to all who knew them.

She will be greatly missed—especially her feisty attitude and twinkling eyes. Wilma is survived by her husband W. Dale of Kearney; her children W. Kurt Ingram and wife Marci (Moss) of Omaha, NE, Greg Ingram and wife Sandy (Kay) of Milwaukee, WI; and Linda Ingram-Jasa of Omaha, NE; her Grandchildren; Jennie, Anne, Scott, Sam, John and Kathryn and her 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jim Warren and her sister Ruth Warren.
