Obituary for Kenneth W. True Kenneth Warren True, 82, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Monday, November 12, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born February 22, 1936 in Omaha, Nebraska to Henry and Margaret True. He attended public schools in Omaha, Nebraska and Richmond, California.

Kenneth married his best friend, Brenda Kay Bates on December 16, 1969 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. They shared more than 48 years of life and marriage together. Kenneth was self-employed working in the electronics repair industry while living in Richmond, California.

He was a member of the California Electronics Association and retired in 1994. Kenneth and Brenda moved to Muskogee in October of 2006 where they became active and faithful members of the First Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margaret True; son, Glen True, grandson, Jeremy Hardy; and brothers, Everett, Carl, and Clarence True.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; daughters, Susan Hardy of Muskogee, Gail Melycher of Ogden, UT; son, Dennis True of Sachse, TX; grandson, Gregory Scott Hardy of Virginia Beach, VA, also a member of the US Navy; special nephew, Robert Walker of Muskogee; sisters, Arlene McCarthy, Dorothy Taylor and husband Ed, brother, Hank True, all of Albany, OR; along with many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. The family requests memorials to be made to Hometown Hospice, 2307 S York St, Muskogee OK 74403. A family conducted memorial service celebrating Kenneth’s life at 10AM, Saturday, November 17, 2018 at First Lutheran Church of Muskogee with Pastor Wayne Schuett officiating.
