Obituary for Kurt A. Wilson Kurt A. Wilson, age 61, of Edwardsville, passed away on October 29, 2018, at his residence. He was born March 29, 1957, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Jerris A. (Walton) Wilson of Monrovia, California, and the late William “Bill” Wilson. Kurt is also survived by three sisters, Vicki Wilson of Swansea, Illinois, Karla Wilson of Monrovia, California, Tanya Smith & husband Larry of St. Louis.

He was an uncle, great uncle, cousin, friend & neighbor. Kurt loved his river adventures and taking wildlife photos. For many years he raised homing pigeons and participated in programs with Compassionate Friends to release pigeons at the conclusion of a memorial service.

In recent years Kurt’s life was enriched by his volunteer work with the Free Lunch Friday at Immanuel United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018, downstairs in the fellowship hall of Immanuel United Methodist Church, 800 N. Main St., Edwardsville, IL, with Rev. Jackie Havis-Shear officiating.
