Chelsea A Memorial service for Larry Keyes Strider, 60, will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Strider died on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 761 Hwy 337 (residence).

He was born Monday, February 17, 1958, in Madison County to Dale Keyes Strider and Doris Gayle Strider. He was raised with his brothers in Hartselle, AL where he attended Morgan County High School, graduating with the class of 1976. Larry then attended Auburn University graduating with a degree in Agricultural Engineering in 1981.

Larry married his beloved wife, Connie Melissa Moses Strider, on July 5th, 1981 in Laurel Mississippi. Among other places the couple lived happily in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for 10 years before moving to Chelsea in 2003, where he lived out the remainder of his days. His personal hobbies included hunting, fishing, golf and collecting outdoor memorabilia and travelling.

Larry’s life has been an example of service and camaraderie to his family. He will be remembered a a loving husband, brother, father and friend. The Strider family extends it’s sincerest thanks to the outpouring of love and support from their friends and community.

In lieu of flowers: memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
