Obituary for Lauralee Wight Adams Lauralee Wight Adams, Lansing, Michigan. Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Edgewood Assisted Living in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 97 years.

Daughter of the late Ralph Henry and Blanche (Strang) Lewis, Lauralee was born February 6, 1921 and was a lifelong resident of Lansing, Michigan. She was married to Frederick Allen Adams on June 1, 1941. He predeceased her December 25, 2001.

Lauralee worked in retail and was an administrative assistant for a Lansing construction business. She was a lifelong member of Pilgrim Congregational Church. Lauralee was a gifted seamstress, artist gardener and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters and one son, Suzanne Wight (Edwin) Skrelunas, Saginaw; Kathy Blanche Wolf, Kalamazoo; John Frederick (Martha) Adams, Grosse Pointe Farms; a son-in-law, Mike Soules, Dimondale; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and an angel on the way; many nieces and nephews. Lauralee was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Lee Soules; a sister, Marion Joanna Davis; a brother, Charles Gordon Lewis; five grandchildren, Craig Edwin Skrelunas, Margaret Wight Skrelunas, twins, Brent and Diane Harris and Chad Harris; a great-grandson, Lance Harris. A special thanks to the staff of Edgewood Assisted Living for the love and support they have given.

Honoring Mrs. Adams wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 125 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, Lansing, Michigan or charity of your choice.
