Obituary for Lee Whistler Lee A. Whistler, 93, of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in Elmcroft. He was born January 6, 1925 in Newville, PA. Lee was a son of the late Wilbur S. and Ethel Boyles Whistler.

He was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church and retired from SKF Industries, both in Shippensburg. Lee was a United States Navy Veteran of WWII. He is survived by one son, Darvin L. Whistler and his companion Linda Shumway of Shippensburg; one daughter, Linda K. Brindle and her husband Richard of Pleasant Hall; three grandchildren, Chad Brindle of York, and Eric and Brandy Whistler; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Dana Blouch-Hanson.

Interment with military honors conducted by the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post #223 will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grane Hospice, 4 Lemoyne Drive, Lemoyne, PA 17043.
