Lee’s Obituary Lee Gordon Fergus, age 78, passed away suddenly on December 19, 2018. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 6, 1940 to Gordon and Ruth Fergus. He graduated from W.B. Ray High School and attended Del Mar College, LSU-NO, as well as several technical schools.

He married his high school sweetheart, Joyce Carter on November 15, 1958. He was a loving husband and father to their two children, Debra Lee and Lee, Jr He grew up hunting and fishing with his father, driving the hunting jeep all over their deer lease by the time he was 10 years old.

He and Joyce loved to travel in their RV, making many long trips with dear friends and family. He was a member of the Newmar Kountry Lone Star RV Club, Alhambra Baza Caravan #78, a volunteer with Mission of Mercy, and an active member of the St. Pius X Men’s Club. That resulted in having to move his young family several times in the first 15 years. He was always willing to help his friends when in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Lee Fergus. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, his daughter Debbie and his son, Lee, Jr., and many close friends.
