Lee J. Gongaware, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 31, 2018. He was born on May 31, 1964 in Canton, Ohio and was the son of the late Lemuel and Louise Gongaware. He married the love of his life, Tammie M. (Vlad) Gongaware on December 24, 1990.

Along with Tammie, he is survived by his children, Megan and her fiancé Jake and twin sons, Logan and Nicholas Gongaware and his dogs Tucker and Sunny. Several years ago he was recently reunited with his daughter Kristin (Mark) Temsic and their sons Logan and Cole and his son Brian Wingert (fiancé Rebekah) and Brian’s son Jacob. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Karen Vlad, his brother-in-law, Eugene Vlad and his sister-in-law Cindy (Russell) Milbrodt and several nieces and nephews.

Lee loved his family with all of his heart and enjoyed many vacations to Disney Resorts. He will be deeply missed by all of the friends that he made throughout his life. He was ambitious and had a never ending desire to learn and succeed.

He was a 1982 graduate of Timken High School. Lee was a GMSTC instructor at Stark State College, he was a certified platinum General Motors technician, he was ASE certified master technician and had countless certifications in his field. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch on Monday from 5-8 pm and a service to celebrate his life will take place on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
