Frederick William Nickels, 80 of Massillon, passed on Friday, July 20, 2018. Fred was born on July 14, 1938 in Canton, Ohio the son of the late Edgar and Vera (Linhart) Nickels. He was a lifelong resident of the area.

Fred was a truck driver and worked for Superior Meats. He later retired as an owner operator. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Terry Lynn and his brother, Ed Nickels.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Dean Nickels, Rockie (Mindi) Nickels, Jody (Esther) Nickels, Darrin Nickels, Frederick Nickels and Mike (Lori) Nickels; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; and 3 sisters. A private service will be held at a later date.
