Leon E (Charlie) Drake, Jr, 60, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, March 7th, at home. Leon was born in Hartford, CT on March 9, 1958, a son of the late Josephine (Perosino) and Leon E Drake, Sr He was employed as a machinist for The Torrington Company and had also worked for Son Chief and RBC Bearings. He enjoyed coffee shops and Car Shows and was the proud owner of a classic Corvette.

He is survived by a sister, Lisa Miller and husband Allen of Winsted, step sisters Regina MacKinnon of Northfield, Brenda MacKinnon of Burlington, and Doris MacKinnon of Torrington and step brother Robert MacKinnon of Torrington, step mother Phyllis Drake Loucks of Torrington and his best friend of 35 years Keith Huff. Also surviving are nieces and nephews including Angel McLellan and her daughter Alexa, Ashley DeGray, Derek Gagnon, and Lauren Miller. A Celebration of his life will be held in the Spring.
