Leonard G. King passed away at Litchfield Woods Sunday, July 15, 2018, after a long illness. He was the son of the late Leonard and Mary (Lovetri) King. A lifelong resident of Torrington, he was formerly employed at the Torrington Company and Brunswick Golf as a welder.

He is survived by his beloved Diane Rumery of 38 years, as well as his caregiver. Survivors in addition to Diane include a son, Darren King and stepdaughter Annette Rumery, who was the “apple of his eye” and thought the world of her; daughter Roxane Caruso of Otis, MA; two sisters, Nancy Davis (Tom) of Winsted, CT, Carol Barbieri (Tony) of Watertown, CT, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Maryann King.
