Lily L. Wright, 94, of Hermann, MO, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Hermann Area District Hospital. Lily was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 28, 1924, a son of the late Fred Sr. & Selma (Tekotte) Schulenberg. She was the wife of the late Edward “Ed” Wright.

They were united in marriage on August 30, 1947, at St. George Church, Hermann, Missouri. Ed preceded her in death on July 9, 2013. Lily was a member of St. George Church, Hermann, of the 3rd Order of St. Francis, and she was a former PTA member.

She was a homemaker. Lily is survived by two sons, Matt Wright & wife Sharon, of Ellisville, Missouri; and Tim Wright & wife Joyce, of Chamois, Missouri; a daughter-in-law; Becky Grove, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; by grandsons, Greg Wright, of Charlotte, North Carolina; Phil Wright, of St. Louis, Missouri; John Wright & wife Susan, of Ballwin, Missouri; Michael Wright & wife Stacy, of Manchester, Missouri; and Mark Wright, of St. Charles; Missouri, by four step-grandchildren, Alex Paulsmeyer & wife Aubrey, of Chamois, Missouri; Ben Paulsmeyer & wife Brittany, of Chamois, Missouri; Jacky Paulsmeyer, of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Eli Paulsmeyer, of Chamois, by her great grandchildren, Sarah, Grace, Lucy, Mary, Luke, & Brian Wright, by one step-great grandchild, Samuel Paulsmeyer, and by two nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Daniel Wright, and a brother Fred Schulenberg, Jr. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 27th from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.

A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 at St. George Church, Hermann, with Rev. Msgr. Gregory Higley officiating.

Burial will be at St. George Cemetery. Memorials may be given to St. George School or St. George Church. C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
