Otis “Odie” Penn, 77, of Hermann, MO, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Frene Valley of Hermann Stonebridge. Odie was born in New Florence, Missouri on June 17, 1941, a son of the late Lester & Helen (Jacquin) Penn. Odie proudly served his country in the United States Navy until he was injured in combat and was medically discharged.

Due to his injuries he was disabled and never able to work. Odie was an avid cardinal fan. He is survived by a brother, Roger Penn & wife Charlene, of Hermann; by two sisters, Annie Ford, of Sanford, North Carolina; and Rose Appio, of Denver, Colorado.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Ralph & Marion Penn. Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 17th at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann, Missouri. Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
