Linda Ann Baer NEW CREEK, WV – Linda Ann Baer, 75, of New Creek, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Born in Darby, PA she was the daughter of Baron and Sally (Newman) Baer. Linda was a technical writer for the U.S. government with the NSA.

She graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA degree in English. She was protestant by faith and attended Knobley Church of the Brethren and women’s fellowship of the church. Linda was a member of the “Travelin’ Mommas” Red Hat Group and served as president of the local NARF chapter.

Linda is survived by a son Brett Gross and wife Alona of New Creek, a daughter Gail Bindus and husband Joseph of Frederick, MD; three grandchildren, Brett, Jr., Damica and Chelsie, three Godchildren, Teresa, Mary Ellen and Lauren. She is also survived by a number of cousins. The family will receive friends at the Markwood Funeral Home on Saturday, May 19, from 7-9 PM.

Funeral Services will be held at the Knobley Church of The Brethren on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Roger Leatherman, officiating. Interment will follow at Knobley Cemetery.
