Rhonda C. McDowell BURLINGTON, WV – Rhonda C. McDowell, 54, of Parrill Hollow Road, Burlington, died Wednesday, June 06, 2018 at Western Maryland Health System, Cumberland. Born Saturday, September 14, 1963 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward “Buck” and Betty Carol (Spurling) Robinette. Rhonda graduated from Keyser High School in 1981 and was a member of Burlington First Baptist Church.

Previously she had been employed by the Burlington United Methodist Family Services. Surviving are her husband, Edward L. “Farmer” McDowell; her daughter, Laci McDowell and friend Cody Higinbotham of Westover, WV; two brothers, Carl E. Robinette and Charles L. “Chuck” Robinette and his wife Candace both of Keyser. She is also survived by her father-in-law, Raymond McDowell; her sister-in-law Patsy Koontz and husband Jim; her brother-in-law, Mike McDowell and wife Robin, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral home on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow visitation at 4:00 pm with the Pastor Thomas N. Caldwell, Jr. officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Western Maryland Health System, Potomac Valley Hospital, local EMS volunteers including special paramedic/niece, Christina Koontz, and` special friend, JoAnn Martin.

A private committal service will take place at a later date.
