Linda’s Obituary GANSEVOORT — Linda M. Mattison, 69, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 after a brief illness with her loved ones at her side. Born on Oct.

19, 1949 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Earl Harrington Sr. and Alice (Carpenter) Harrington. On March 27, 1965, Linda married the love of her life, Howard Leon Mattison, at Harrisena Community Church in Queensbury. Linda attended Adirondack Community College for Criminal Justice.

For many years, she worked as a waitress in various well-established restaurants. In her spare time, she loved BINGO and word puzzles, as well as cooking, gardening, crocheting, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She was also a member of the Harrisena Community Church.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her beloved husband, Howard Leon; her sister, Gloria Cross; her brother-in-law, Peter Bapp; and her grandson-in-law, Jordan Novak. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Leigh (Dave) Goodrich, Connie (Todd) Stevenson, Alison (Dan) Hazewski, Heath (Christine) Mattison, and Ashley (Richard) Rouse; her grandchildren, Elisha Novak, Brittney Jaworski, Kristen Stevenson, Heather (Eric) Richards, Tanner Goodrich, Dan and Devin Hazewski, Megan, Ryan and Mason Mattison, and Kyle and Jadan Rouse; her great-grandchildren, Gage Novak, Greyson Sullivan, Kadyn Jaworski, Jayse Mayer, Landon DelToro, and Aubrey and Paisley Richards; her sister, Sylvia Bapp; her brother, Earl Harrington Jr.; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will take place Friday, Nov.

2 from noon to 1 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home, 11 Lafayette St., Queensbury, NY 12804. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Lemont Robinson officiating.

A graveside service will follow at Pine View Cemetery in Queensbury. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Rev. Robinson for many years of spiritual support for Linda and her family, and to Sylvia Bapp and Judy McCormick for their unconditional love, friendship, and support over the years.
