Marguerite’s Obituary QUEENSBURY — Marguerite Mary Tubbs, 94, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Warren Center. Born February 17, 1924 in Lake Luzerne, she was the daughter of the late Willard and May (Murdock) Tubbs. Marguerite attended Luzerne School, and after school she worked for General Telephone Co. for over 35 years as a telephone operator.

She loved to travel to Florida and visiting family. She also enjoyed doing small crafts, playing cards and BINGO, visiting Fly Creek, NY, going for rides and eating out. In addition to her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by two brothers, Willard and Howard Tubbs; seven sisters, Lulu Konkofske, Lottie Tubbs, Leona Swears, Emily Tubbs, Alice Harris, Annis Clute, and Vina Cook.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Yvonne (Paul) Pindt of Lake Luzerne; two grandchildren, Yvette (Richard) Hack of Hadley, and Adam Podwirny of Lake Luzerne; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Hack of Saratoga Springs, April Podwirny of Lake Luzerne, and Cheyenne Podwirny of Lake Luzerne; one sister, E. Jane Girard of Corinth, also several nieces and nephews. Per Marguerite’s request, there will be no calling hours or services. She will be missed by her loving family and friends.
