Linda Pellow Schornhorst , November 27, 1944 — July 21, 2018

Linda Schornhorst, age 73, passed away on Saturday July 21, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. Linda was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 27, 1944 to the late Alex and Ruby (Cornette) Pellow. She was a long time member of Concordia Lutheran Church where she had served as secretary for many years.

Linda graduated from North High School and shortly thereafter began working for Mead Johnson/Bristol Myers Squibb. She often said how blessed she was to have been married to her very best friend and to have had such a wonderful family.

Linda enjoyed watching her daughters and then her grandsons succeed in school. She loved watching them play sports. In recent years she was fortunate to have her grandsons ride the school bus to her house after school where she would help them with their school work and then cook them dinner.

Linda loved all animals, especially the pets she had over the years. She and Larry were able to travel throughout Europe and she especially loved the Western United States. She had many, many friends.

We will all greatly miss her, but we take consolation in knowing that part of her will live on in us. She is now in God’s hands. Linda is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Larry Schornhorst; her daughters, Lori Wagner and Lisa York (Robert); and her grandsons, Kyler and Kaden Wagner.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Lucille Pellow; her brothers, David and Donald Pellow; and her stepbrothers, Gene and Jerry Bruner. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. , Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor David Wiist officiating.

Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery on Volkman Road. Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9:00 AM until service time on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Concordia Lutheran Church, 2451 Stringtown Rd.
