Although he was their only child, Julius received enough love for several children. Julius was known to many as “Juice Box”, “Juicy”, “Box”, “Boxer”, “Ju Ju”, “J”, “J – Man”, “Ano”, “Boobie”, “Little Nugget”, “Terius”, and the list goes on. Julius was an energetic, vibrant, and independent toddler. He especially enjoyed spending time watching Mickey Mouse Club House, Paw Patrol, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Pixar Cars, and Family Fued. He also spent countless hours playing games and watching cartoons on his IPad.

At 18 months, Julius was diagnosed with Leukemia which forced him and his parents to move to Indianapolis. He received 7 months of chemo therapy at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. Due to an unexpected relapse he received a bone marrow transplant at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital which also required several months of inpatient medical care.

Julius unfortunately suffered from another relapse in November of 2017 that required additional ongoing medical care. In March of 2017, Julius and his parents returned to their home in Indianapolis where his parents provided in home medical care 24/7 up until his death. On July 17, 2018, Julius prepared for his final battle and was called home at 11:40 AM.

He was surrounded in love by his family and loving and caring staff at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Julius will always be remembered by his vivacious smile that could light up any room.
